Eye of Mine

There are a few solutions available for the blur problem that is encountered when using the GoPro Underwater. One solution is to use the Eye of Mine Underwater Flat Lens. It is an after market lens for your GoPro. However, in saying the lens produces incredible results.

Aquapixs

Another great alternative is an underwater glass lens for your GoPro HD. This lens is created by a German SCUBA Diver, Patrick Verhey of Aquapixs.

The No-Name Fix

This is a more affordable fix for the Blurry GoPro Underwater problem. What is great about this aftermarket modification is that you do not have to change, remove or mod anything on your GoPro or Housing. Simply follow the steps as per their website and enjoy the results of having a flat underwater lens for your GoPro.

The really cool guys over at FreeDivingSpearFishingGear also have an Aftermarket Flat Lens.

Unlike the No-Name fix. This lens does require some assembly.

The DIY Approach

Ironically the DIY GoPro Underwater Fix is one of the best and it’s free! All you have to do is buy all the materials and Do It Yourself.

So, if you are the crafty type and are good with a Hobby Knife then you can save yourself a few bucks.

Mako provides you with another very affordable lens for your Underwater GoPro.

Oculus

Yes. There is another option for that unsightly underwater blurry problem that the stock GoPro Waterproof Housing puts on us. This one is from a manufacturer called Oculus Gear for the GoPro.

Oculus are the first to implement a 3D Underwater Housing for the GoPro HD. This looks like it is a great product. I can’t wait to see 3D underwater GoPro footage.

A Lot of Aftermarket Options

As you can see there are several aftermarket GoPro Underwater lens available for you to choose from. A lot of SCUBA Divers have commented that they like the Oculus lens the best as it offers the least amount of venegetting. It is obviously up to you as the diver and to what suits your needs.

GoPros HD’s are the Best. This is the lowest price I have seen them at.
